How to Make Jumping Up to Sing High Notes Easier - Part 4

I think sometimes singers assume that consistent sound comes from consistent use of the breath

but instead I’d love for you to think about using the breath to FUEL the notes and sounds you’re making.

Because of this, the way we use our breath and the speed of will change (some people feel this as a change in energy or can be connected to their emotional expression).

IMPORTANT NOTE:

This is an exercise that can be used for jumps that are in a sweeter/lighter quality up to a more spoken mid-weight quality. Trying to keep the heaviness of a "belt" sound can bring tension with it on this exercise.
