How to Make Jumping Up to Sing High Notes Easier - Part 2

The second in the series created to help you start to ENJOY those soaring jumps in the songs you love (instead of the sheer panic that you might usually feel when you go to sing them).

This tip is all about paying attention to the little note or notes that you usually skim over or half-sing - the bottom note of the jump.

How you land these notes make a HUGE difference in the ease of the rest of the jump.

(some of my students will have heard me say "Feed all of your children" as in feed each note the same, don't leave any of them hungry )

Do you feel you have an obsession with the "hard note" WAY before it actually arrives?

And might be guilty of not giving the lower notes much of your attention? You’re not alone, let’s try something new.

I’d love for you to share your insights below!

Did you test this out on a song you’ve been working on? How did it feel different when you landed that jump?
